Cu Lao Cham Islands are located about 15 km off the coast of Hoi An and are well known for their clear water and well preserved marine ecosystem. It is an ideal destination for visitors who want to combine sightseeing with outdoor activities in a peaceful island setting.
Snorkeling

At spots such as Hon Dai, Bai Xep, and Bai Ong, visitors can snorkel close to the shore. With just a life jacket, mask, and snorkel, you can observe colorful coral reefs and many small tropical fish swimming around you. The water here is relatively shallow, making the activity suitable even for beginners.
Marine nature

The islands belong to the Cu Lao Cham Biosphere Reserve, home to diverse marine life and protected natural habitats. The sea is usually calm and clear, providing good visibility for snorkeling. Visitors are encouraged not to touch or step on coral in order to help preserve the reef ecosystem.

A speedboat from Cua Dai Pier takes approximately 20–25 minutes to reach the islands. Most tours also include visits to local fishing villages, Hai Tang Pagoda, and a seafood lunch on the island. This is a popular half day or full day activity when traveling to Hoi An or Da Nang.
